IT'S YOUR MOVE 2021

It's Your Move happened on a much smaller scale this year, but nonetheless was a great opportunity to work with some extra schools and provide support to year sixes as they prepare for their move to secondary school. 

We were really pleased to visit St Michael's and Hillmead Primary in Bishop's Stortford and Katherine Semar and St Mary's in Saffron Walden, a total of 160 children.  The session comprised of a bible story drama; discussion around the practicalities of secondary school such as; homework, personal organisation and uniform and an opportunity for the children to ask questions. Each child received a free copy of the Scripture Union 'It's Your Move' book. One of the schools gave this feedback:

The session was fantastic! It was funny and engaging and the various messages really came across well. It was so good to see the kids willing to participate in the drama etc and the Y11 girls who helped were fab.

Please remember year six children in your prayers as they make their final preparations for secondary school over the summer.
