The Stort Valley Schools Trust is a Christian organisation working with a number of primary & secondary schools in Bishop’s Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Saffron Walden, Newport and the surrounding villages. We are a small team of employees working with and supported by, leaders and members of local churches across the area.

We operate within the framework of the National Curriculum to offer Christian input to school life in a variety of ways, including;

  • Running Lunchtime & Afterschool Clubs

  • Taking Assemblies

  • Providing input to RPE Lessons

  • Being an independent listening ear for students

  • Visiting Year 6’s in their last term to present the “It’s Your Move” Transition Workshop, to help them prepare for secondary school

  • Running primary school workshops and seasonal events

  • Giving students time and space to form and explore their own thoughts about life and the Christian faith

This club gives people the chance to express their own views without being judged

It's amazing because we can talk about our concerns, whatever they are

Student, Year 8

To feel like we can talk to each other about things that we're worried about etc has been very enjoyable
