I am a South African, married to a beautiful Devonshire lady named Janet-Marie.

We worship at a Newfrontiers church in East London called Church For The City.

My heart is in South African, but my call is in Europe, so my home is where Janet-Marie is.

I did my youth and schools work training with South West Youth Ministries, and was placed in Devon (where I met Janet-Marie).

I have been doing youth since 2003 in various contexts, and I am looking forward to going into schools as a Christian Schools Worker.  

I love the Scriptures! One of my passions is discipleship. I want to pour myself out into young people who love Jesus and develop in them a love for His Word. The reason for this is that they (the Christians) are the ones who will make the biggest impact for the Gospel in their schools and circle of friends. People like me just give a ‘trailer’ of the Christian life and message, but the Christians themselves who are there all day, every day are the full length movie.

So as well as being that snapshot of Christ through assemblies and lunch clubs, I also want to serve the Christians in the schools by equipping them to share their love for Jesus... or rather, Jesus’ love for them, and what it looks like to live life in light of that love.
